Rare Prints of Renaissance Master Raphael Exhibited at New York’s Murray Hill Art Museum

New York — The Murray Hill Art Museum in New York unveiled an exhibition of rare prints by Italian Renaissance master Raphael on Saturday. Raffaello di Giovanni Santi (1483-1520), known as Raphael, is widely regarded as one of the masters of the Italian Renaissance.
The exhibition brings together 100 rare engravings and lithographs from its own collection, along with loans from private collectors across the United States. A number of artists and collectors from the New York metropolitan area attended the opening ceremony.
After closing at the end of June, the rare prints will travel to Shanghai, Xi’an, and Wuhan in China, organizers said.
