Russian Defence Minister Congratulates Soldiers on Liberation of Miropolye

Moscow. Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov has congratulated the command and personnel of the 41st Motorised Rifle Regiment on the liberation of Miropolye in the Sumy region.

In his congratulatory telegram, Minister Belousov stated, “Courageous and selfless motorised riflemen perform their military duty to protect the people and our land from the enemy. In all directions, the regiment’s servicemen have shown unprecedented courage, heroism and selflessness, continuing the glorious traditions of the ancestors who liberated the world from fascism.”

The defence minister noted that the regiment’s personnel honourably continues the cause of the heroic generation that fought for the country’s freedom and independence. He stressed, “We will always remember the feats of the soldiers who bled for our homeland.”

Minister Belousov thanked the servicemen for their loyalty to the Fatherland and their oaths, and expressed confidence that they would honourably continue to carry out their tasks, reliably defend national interests, and ensure Russia’s security.
