China Successfully Launches Cargo Spacecraft Tianzhou-10, Sends Supplies to Tiangong Station

Wenchang (China). China successfully launched the cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-10 from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in Hainan Province on Monday morning. According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the spacecraft will deliver essential fuel, food, scientific equipment, and other vital supplies to China’s Tiangong space station, which is orbiting in low Earth orbit.
Shortly after launch, Tianzhou-10 was established in its designated orbit and its solar panels were successfully deployed, the agency confirmed. The spacecraft is expected to complete the automated docking process with the core module of the Tiangong station within a few hours.
This is the tenth cargo spacecraft in the Tianzhou series. China began construction of the Tiangong space station with the launch of its core module in 2021. The agency stated that three astronauts are currently working aboard Tiangong.
