Wreaths Laid in Honour of Soviet Soldiers in Edinburgh, Victory Day Marked in Scotland

Edinburgh. On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, diplomats of the Russian Consulate General in Edinburgh laid wreaths and flowers at the memorials to Soviet seamen and pilots in Dundee and Errol, as well as at the monument to the participants of the Arctic Convoys in the village of Lyness in the Orkneys.

The consulate expressed gratitude to Russian compatriots, British people, and citizens of other countries who also visited the memorials during these days to honour the memory of Soviet soldiers on Scottish soil.
