Russian Ambassador Urges UK to Take Seriously Kiev’s Terrorist Attacks

Russian Ambassador Andrei Kelin was invited to a meeting at the British Foreign Office on June 3, during which the British side raised a number of objections related to the conduct of Russia’s special military operation, including speculation concerning the crash of an unmanned aerial vehicle in Romania on May 29.
Ambassador Kelin set out Russia’s position on the incident, rejecting the unfounded accusations. He noted that the purpose of the recent wave of Russophobia was to distract the international community from the crimes of the Kiev regime.
In this context, he referred to recent terrorist attacks by Ukrainian troops on a dormitory in Starobelsk and a passenger bus in Yenakiyevo. He emphasized that London, as one of Zelensky’s main sponsors, was effectively supporting these terrorist methods.
Furthermore, Ambassador Kelin urged his interlocutors to treat with the utmost seriousness the statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on May 25 concerning the commencement of the systematic destruction of military and defense-industrial facilities in Kiev. He reiterated to the British side the strong recommendation that diplomatic personnel and foreign nationals be evacuated from the city.
