Deadline for Submitting Property Details Extended Until Mid-July

The Property Investigation Commission has extended the deadline for submitting property details until the end of Asar.
According to Commission Chairperson Rajendra Bhandari, the deadline was extended after some individuals required to submit their property details reported that they were abroad, while others said they were facing difficulties in collecting the necessary documents.
The Commission had issued a notice on Jestha 1, asking various officials ranging from former prime ministers to joint secretary-level officers to submit their property details. As per the earlier notice, the details had to be submitted by the end of Jestha.
With only three days left before the Jestha deadline expired, only around 3,500 people had submitted their property details, the Commission said.
Commission spokesperson Ganesh KC said the deadline was extended for the final time, taking into consideration the pressure on those submitting their details and the need to make the process more convenient. He added that the Commission is also preparing to begin examining the property details received so far.
