Two Killed, One Injured in Small Aircraft Crash in Brazil

Two people were killed and one was injured after a small aircraft crashed on Wednesday shortly after takeoff in Brazil’s southeastern Sao Paulo state, firefighters said.
The private aircraft was carrying three people when it went down near a recreational club close to Frank Miloye Milenkovich Airport in the city of Marilia, according to airport operator Rede Voa.
Fire department officials said two people died at the scene, while the third person was rescued and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency said the aircraft had valid airworthiness status in the country’s aeronautical registry.
