Children from 67 Countries Share Their Love for Their Homeland

An awards ceremony for the 8th International Competition “Tell the World About Your Homeland” was held on June 6, ahead of Russia Day.

The competition brought together children and young people from 67 countries, who submitted creative projects expressing their love, respect and pride for their native land. Through drawings, presentations and videos, participants shared stories about their countries’ memorable places, cultural traditions, important events and unique heritage.

Organizers said the competition is designed to foster a sense of patriotism among children and youth, encourage respect for their homeland, and promote friendly relations among different ethnic and cultural communities.

The competition has been included in the list of events for the 2025/26 academic year approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

According to the competition rules, all participants receive electronic certificates, while mentors receive electronic letters of appreciation. Winners are awarded diplomas and commemorative prizes.

All winners are also invited to a gala awards ceremony in Moscow, attended by government officials and public figures.

Organizers have released several videos by participating children, showcasing how young people from different countries express love and appreciation for their homeland in their own creative ways.
