Brothers FC Reach Semifinals with 6–2 Victory over Narebang

Brothers FC advanced to the semifinals of the men’s futsal competition under the ongoing HSCYC Cup–2083 in Serabang, Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality–11 of Rukum East, after defeating Narebang FC 6–2.

Mohit Thapa scored five goals for Brothers FC in Wednesday’s match, while team captain Bharat Gharti Magar added one to complete the six-goal victory.

Brothers FC delivered an impressive attacking performance throughout the match, restricting Narebang to two goals and securing a place in the last four.

Brothers FC will face Nawalpur, Dang, in the semifinal scheduled for 10:30 am on Thursday.

The tournament is being held on the premises of Shree Uttarganga Basic School in Serabang to mark the 31st anniversary of Shree Himalayan Shringkhala Chauri Youth Club.

The event includes men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s futsal, an open dohori song competition, chhelo and various cultural programmes.

Brothers FC is participating in the tournament under the leadership of club President Bibek Sagar Poudel.

The tournament was inaugurated on Shrawan 2 and will conclude on Shrawan 10, according to Brothers FC Treasurer Rakesh Poudel.
