US to Step Up Efforts to Revive Russia–Ukraine Peace Talks, Rubio Says

The United States is preparing to intensify diplomatic efforts in the near future to revive peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Rubio said Washington was ready to help bring both sides back to the negotiating table.

He reiterated the US position that the conflict should ultimately be resolved through diplomatic dialogue.

Rubio, however, did not provide a specific timetable or explain the proposed format for the renewed peace initiative.
