The radiation situation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and in the surrounding area remains stable, according to the facility’s press service.

The press service said the plant’s safety systems continue to operate normally and that established limits and conditions for safe operation have not been violated.

According to the statement, radiation levels at the nuclear power plant and in nearby areas remain consistent with natural background levels.

The facility is currently receiving external electricity only through the Ferrosplavnaya 1 power transmission line, the press service added.

External power supply is essential for the safe operation of a nuclear facility, making the continued availability of the remaining power line important for maintaining key safety and operational systems at the plant.
