NADA Auto Show 2026 to Begin on Bhadau 9, Featuring First-Ever ‘Made in Nepal and Made for Nepal’ Pavilion

The Nepal Automobiles Association (NADA) is set to organize the 18th edition of the “NADA Auto Show 2026” to mark the 50th golden jubilee of its establishment.
The six-day exhibition will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from Bhadau 9 to 14 and will cover approximately 300,000 square feet. Organizers said the event will feature more than 200 stalls.
The exhibition will include 23 passenger car brands, 17 light commercial vehicle brands and 13 two-wheeler brands. It will also host around 70 auto component stalls along with the participation of 10 financial and insurance institutions.
NADA General Secretary Milan Babu Malla said the auto show is no longer limited to displaying vehicles but has evolved into a broader ecosystem connecting technology, industry and employment.
In line with this concept, robotics and artificial intelligence will be among the major attractions of this year’s event. Visitors will be able to see the “GI Humanoid” and “GO-2 Quadruped” robots, while QR codes placed on vehicles will allow them to access detailed digital information about different models through AI-based systems.
One of the major highlights of this edition will be the first-ever “Made in Nepal and Made for Nepal” pavilion. The dedicated section will give priority to motorcycles and scooters manufactured or assembled in Nepal, as well as locally produced or supplied tyres, batteries, lubricants, helmets and spare parts.
The initiative, built around the theme “From Industry to Employment,” is aimed at promoting domestic production, assembly industries and the broader automobile supply chain.
According to NADA, the automobile sector contributes between 22 and 25 percent of national revenue and provides direct and indirect employment to around 1.1 million people.
The exhibition will also feature the launch of new electric vehicles, alongside symposiums focusing on charging infrastructure, electric mobility and sustainable automobile policies.
Organizers expect around 200,000 visitors during the six-day event.
For visitor convenience, parking facilities will be arranged at different locations, with free shuttle bus services operating between the parking areas and Bhrikutimandap. Medical teams, wheelchair facilities and other support services will also be available.
Visitors purchasing advance tickets through Khalti will be eligible for cashback of up to 50 percent, according to the organizers.
