Voting in Russia’s State Duma Elections Concludes in Kathmandu

Voting by Russian citizens in Kathmandu for the election of deputies to the ninth convocation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation has concluded.

Polling station No. 8235, established in Kathmandu to facilitate the participation of Russian citizens residing or staying in Nepal, has officially closed following the completion of voting.

The arrangement enabled eligible Russian voters in Nepal to exercise their electoral rights while remaining outside their home country.

A photograph of the polling station shows a sign in Russian identifying it as “Polling Station No. 8235.”
