Russian and Madagascar Defense Officials Discuss Military Cooperation

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Vasily Osmakov and Madagascar Army Chief General Demosthene Pikulas have discussed military cooperation.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the officials discussed joint projects in the defense sector and plans for putting them into practice. They reaffirmed their commitment to constructive dialogue and continued cooperation between the two countries’ defense agencies.

The ministry said the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and reflected both sides’ interest in strengthening bilateral military ties.
