Russia wants to establish lasting peace in Ukraine, not merely a temporary ceasefire, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

In an interview with US broadcaster NBC, Peskov said the ongoing negotiations were not aimed solely at securing a ceasefire. “We do not want simply a ceasefire; we want peace,” he said.
