All residents evacuated from Alyoshki will receive the medical care they need, Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova said. Healthcare workers and psychologists are assisting evacuees at temporary accommodation centres.
Speaking at a news conference after a humanitarian mission to the city, Lantratova said the first group of people who chose to remain in Russia was initially taken to a temporary accommodation centre in Simferopol. Some later moved to Krasnodar Region, while others chose to stay in Skadovsk.
Temporary accommodation centres were set up at health and recreation facilities, where medical staff provided initial care and continue to look after evacuees, she said.
“Everyone will receive the necessary medical treatment. Psychologists are also available at the centres,” Lantratova added.
