$115 Million ADB Loan: Negotiation Team Formed; Study Taskforce on Government Software

Kathmandu — The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to form a negotiation team led by a joint secretary from the Ministry of Finance to finalize discussions regarding the concessional loan assistance of US $115 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for integrated water supply and sewerage management.

Similarly, the government has decided to form a study taskforce under the coordination of the Information and Communication Technology Advisor to study software and information technology-related matters within government agencies, according to government spokesperson Sashmit Pokharel.
