Nepali Hajj Pilgrims Bid Farewell, Commitment to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Kathmandu. The government bid farewell to Nepali Hajj pilgrims departing for the holy city of Mecca on Saturday. Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s Political Advisor Ashim Shah and Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nepal, Fahad Mohammed Azmi Manikar, saw off the group of Hajj pilgrims at Tribhuvan International Airport.

During the farewell, discussions were held between PM’s Political Advisor Shah and Ambassador Manikar on further strengthening the religious, cultural, and mutual relations between Nepal and Saudi Arabia. According to Shah, both sides expressed confidence that bilateral ties will deepen further, and extended best wishes for a successful, safe, and blessed journey to all Nepali Muslims participating in the Hajj pilgrimage.

PM’s Political Advisor Shah highlighted that Hajj symbolises the significant religious faith and spiritual unity of the followers of Islam, and also drew the attention of the concerned authorities towards ensuring smooth management and cooperation for the pilgrims.
