Kiev Regime Crimes: Over 250 Civilians Suffer in Past Week

MOSCOW — More than 250 civilians, including 12 children, have suffered from the criminal actions of Ukrainian militants over the past week, according to Russia’s Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian forces are firing over 700 munitions of various types daily at civilian sites in Russia. Over the past seven days, he said, Ukrainian punitive forces have focused their efforts on disrupting civilian logistics in Crimea and the Kherson Region, including the supply of food, medicine, and fuel.
Transport infrastructure, intercity and municipal public transport—including passenger trains and city bus routes—have become targets of terrorist attacks, he added. Alongside these crimes, Ukrainian militants attempted to destroy a cultural heritage site in Sevastopol, once again demonstrating complete disregard for international law, Miroshnik said.
Between June 8 and 14, Ukrainian neo-Nazi shelling resulted in casualties among 254 civilians: 225 people were injured, including 12 children, and 29 people were killed, including one child.
In total, over the past seven days, Ukrainian militants fired at least 4,976 munitions at civilian sites on Russian territory, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Meanwhile, the international community has continued to express grave concern over incidents of civilian targeting in the Ukraine-Russia war. The United Nations and human rights bodies have repeatedly urged both sides to adhere to international humanitarian law to protect civilians during the conflict.
