‘2025 China Yearbook’ Published with Record of China’s Development

Kathmandu. The Chinese and English editions of the “2025 China Yearbook” have been published by Xinhua Publishing House and will be distributed both in China and abroad.
The Chinese-language edition records major events related to China’s reform, opening up and modernization in 2024. It contains more than 2.4 million Chinese characters and includes over 100 photos of historical value.
The English-language edition covers China’s national conditions, political party system, state institutions and other key topics. It is more than 1 million words in length and also includes over 100 photos.
The “China Yearbook” was first published in 1981. Since then, it has been issued for 45 consecutive years. It has become an annual reference publication documenting China’s national development, governance system, policies, economy, society, culture and modernization process.
Published by Xinhua Publishing House, the yearbook is presented as an important reference for understanding China’s latest development, policy direction and major domestic events. The publication of both Chinese and English editions is aimed at making information about China available to readers at home and abroad.
