105 Years of the Communist Party of China and China’s Message to World History
Editorial

The 105th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China is not merely an internal political celebration of China. It is a moment to reflect on an important experience in modern world history: how a nation once marked by weakness, humiliation, poverty and fragmentation was able to rise and build a path of stability, development, confidence and global influence.
When the Communist Party of China was founded in 1921, it was a small political force. China was facing foreign interference, internal instability, poverty and deep national humiliation. Today, that same party stands as the world’s largest governing party, while China has become a major power in the global economy, science and technology, infrastructure development, poverty alleviation and international cooperation. This transformation did not happen by accident. It was built on long-term vision, organizational discipline, people-centered policies, national independence and continuous self-reform.
President Xi Jinping’s description of the CPC’s 105-year journey as the “most magnificent epic” of the Chinese nation is deeply meaningful. This epic is not merely a story of political victory. It is a story of changes in people’s lives, poverty reduction, rural revitalization, industrial development, scientific progress and the restoration of national dignity. The true value of any political force is measured by the transformation it brings to the lives of the people. From this perspective, China’s experience is worthy of serious study for the developing world.
China has challenged the old assumption that modernization means Westernization. It has shown that every country can build its own path of development based on its history, culture, social needs and political structure. For this reason, socialism with Chinese characteristics is not only China’s slogan, but also a practical example of alternative modernity.
For developing countries such as Nepal, China’s experience is also important. No country can achieve sustainable progress without national independence, policy stability, long-term planning, infrastructure development, poverty alleviation and a governance system connected with the people. The Himalayan friendship between Nepal and China, mutual respect, development partnership and Nepal’s commitment to the One-China principle provide a strong foundation for deepening relations between the two countries.
In today’s changing world, China’s stability and development matter not only for China itself, but also for world peace, multipolarity, shared development and the confidence of the Global South. The 105-year journey of the Communist Party of China carries this broader historical message.
On this occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Communist Party of China, the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese people and friends of China around the world. May China’s journey of national rejuvenation, people’s welfare, stability and building a community with a shared future for mankind become even more successful and brighter in the days ahead.
