INNOPROM 2026 Expands Industrial Cooperation as Russia and Indonesia Sign 13 Memoranda

The 16th INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition concluded in Yekaterinburg, Russia, with renewed commitments to expand cooperation in industrial technology, investment and cross-border manufacturing.
The four-day exhibition, held from July 6 to 9, brought together more than 1,000 exhibiting companies and over 50,000 participants from more than 50 countries. Five countries presented national expositions.
Around 900 Russian and foreign companies participated in the business programme. Russian companies presented advanced technologies and industrial solutions to government and business delegations from India, China, Indonesia and Myanmar.
Held under the theme “Industry 360: Manufacturing Without Borders,” the exhibition focused on industrial production, energy technologies, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, data processing and modern communications systems.
Participants included Rajasekharan Jambulingam, head of the Confederation of Indian Industry delegation, Myanmar’s Industry Minister Charlie Than, and representatives of China Yihua Group and PetroChina Quanfeng Dalian Energy, among other international companies.
Indonesia participated as INNOPROM’s partner country this year and maintained a major presence at the exhibition. Its participation is expected to create new opportunities for Russian businesses seeking wider cooperation in Southeast Asia.
Thirteen memoranda of cooperation were signed between Russian and Indonesian organisations during the exhibition. The agreements are expected to lay the foundation for joint projects in the chemical industry, energy technologies and green energy.
The event also featured high-level talks among the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. The prime ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan held discussions with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on industrial cooperation, trade and regional economic integration.
Among the key technologies displayed was Rostec’s 32-megawatt NK-36ST-32 gas turbine engine. The engine is designed for compressor stations, gas-pumping units and power-generation facilities.
The exhibition also featured the ATOM electric car, a high-speed optical transceiver, an artificial intelligence computing accelerator based on a domestically produced chip and a photonic integrated circuit capable of increasing data-transfer speeds by up to ten times compared with conventional technology.
More than 100 business events, roundtable discussions and company-level negotiations were held during INNOPROM 2026.
The cooperation agreements and technology demonstrations further strengthened INNOPROM’s position as a major industrial platform in Russia and the wider Eurasian Economic region.
