China Urges India to Ensure Fair Business Environment for Foreign Enterprises

China on Thursday urged India to ensure a fair, just, transparent and non-discriminatory business environment for foreign enterprises investing and operating in the country.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun told a regular press briefing that China-India economic and trade cooperation is mutually beneficial and win-win in nature.

He said a stable and equitable business environment is important for the healthy development of economic and trade relations between the two countries. China has emphasized that bilateral economic cooperation should continue on the basis of mutual benefit, practical cooperation and long-term engagement.
