Sanisha Bhattarai to Play Lead Role in ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’, Chosen by Top Banner

Kathmandu — Actress Sanisha Bhattarai, who rose to fame through TikTok and later appeared in music videos before making her way to the silver screen, has caught the attention of a major film banner in a short span of time. She will now play the lead role in ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’, a film to be produced by the team of Dipak-Dipa.

The question of who will be the heroine in films produced by the Dipak-Dipa team is always a topic of interest. Their banner, ‘Aama Saraswati Movies’, has delivered back-to-back hits. While the female lead changes with each project, the rest of the cast remains consistent. Actor Dipak Raj Giri informed via social media that the shooting of the sequel began on Monday.

The lead actress of ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai’ was Keki Adhikari. For the sequel, however, Sanisha Bhattarai has been chosen. She made her silver screen debut in the film ’12 Gaun’, released during Dashain in 2081 BS. Being associated with a banner and team known for delivering 100 percent hit films is seen as a significant professional achievement for Sanisha.
