Putin and UAE President Hold Phone Talks on Middle East Crisis and Iran

Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Kremlin, the two leaders discussed the crisis situation in the Middle East and around Iran. Both sides underscored the importance of continuing the political and diplomatic process aimed at reaching compromise-based peaceful agreements, with due regard for the interests of all regional states.
The leaders expressed mutual satisfaction with the successful development of Russia-UAE cooperation in the political, trade, and economic spheres. They agreed to maintain active bilateral contacts.
During the conversation, President Putin thanked the Emirati side for its regular assistance in addressing humanitarian issues in the context of the Ukrainian conflict.
