Brazil Secures First Win: Cunha Brace Powers 3-0 Victory Over Haiti

Philadelphia — Five-time champions Brazil registered their first win of the FIFA World Cup 2026, cruising to a commanding 3-0 victory over Haiti in a Group C encounter at the Philadelphia Stadium earlier today.
Matheus Cunha struck twice, finding the net in the 23rd and 36th minutes, while Vinícius Júnior added a third during first-half injury time to seal the dominant win. The goal marked Vinícius’ second of the tournament, having also scored in Brazil’s opening match against Morocco.
