Iran and Belgium Play Out Goalless Draw in World Cup Group G Clash

Belgium were reduced to 10 men in the 66th minute after Nathan Ngoy was shown a straight red card for a bad foul on Taremi. Despite the numerical advantage, Iran were unable to capitalise and break the deadlock.

Iran had opened their World Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw against New Zealand. To keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive, they will now face a crucial fixture against Egypt on June 27.
