Atlanta Stadium — Spain delivered a commanding performance to thrash Saudi Arabia 4-0 in their Group H encounter at the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Sunday.

At the Atlanta Stadium, Spain struck three times in the first half before adding a fourth through an own goal after the break. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 10th minute to give Spain an early lead.

Mikel Oyarzabal doubled the advantage in the 21st minute and completed his brace just three minutes later in the 24th, putting Spain firmly in control at 3-0 heading into halftime.

The second half saw Saudi Arabia’s misery compounded in the 49th minute when Hassan Altambakti turned the ball into his own net, extending Spain’s lead to 4-0. Neither side managed to add to the scoreline thereafter, as Spain cruised to a comfortable victory.
