One Rescued Alive from Trishuli 3 ‘A’ Tunnel on Tenth Day After Flood

One person has been rescued alive from inside a tunnel of the Trishuli 3 ‘A’ Hydropower Project, ten days after the flood.

Sanjay Sah was rescued alive from the tunnel today. He had been trapped inside following the flood that struck on Bhadau 10.

It is suspected that several other people may also have been trapped inside the tunnel during the flooding. Search and rescue operations are continuing in the area.
