Russian Diplomat Releases Evidence of Ukrainian Attacks

Moscow — Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has released photo-based details, claiming that Ukrainian armed forces carried out attacks targeting civilians between June 1 and 7, 2026.
According to Miroshnik, during the period, drone, UAV and multiple-launch rocket system attacks were reported in the Kherson, Belgorod, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.


He said that on June 1, a munition was dropped from a drone on the Vinogradovo-Tarasovka road section in the Kherson Region, killing one civilian. On the same day, a UAV strike hit a civilian cargo vehicle on the Razumnoye-Novosadny road section in the Belgorod Region, wounding one civilian.


On June 2, Miroshnik said, a UAV strike targeted a passenger train at the railway station in Dzhankoy, in the Republic of Crimea.
On June 3, a UAV strike hit a Moscow-Simferopol tourist bus in Yenakiyevo, in the Donetsk People’s Republic, killing eight civilians and wounding 12 others, according to the Russian side. The same day, an MLRS strike hit private residential houses in Laptevka, Belgorod Region, injuring a woman.


According to Miroshnik, on June 6, a UAV strike on a private household in Oktyabrsky, Belgorod Region, wounded a 12-year-old girl.
On June 7, a UAV strike hit a civilian car in Donetsk. The same day, UAV strikes targeted parking areas of commercial facilities in Zhdanov and Prokhorovka, both in the Belgorod Region, injuring civilians. Another UAV strike on civilian transport in Stakhanov, in the Luhansk People’s Republic, wounded two civilians.



The Russian side presented these incidents as examples of attacks by Ukrainian armed forces against civilians, transport vehicles, residential areas and commercial facilities. Miroshnik said the released materials were being presented to the international community as evidence of attacks on civilians.
As the conflict continues, the impact on civilians in border and disputed areas remains a serious concern. Such incidents have further highlighted the issue of civilian protection under international humanitarian law.
